Payors and providers are able to refer patients via MDIA’s website, email, fax, or phone. The Examination Request is entered into MDIA’s ElectRIS platform and reviewed by MDIA’s experienced schedulers in concert with on-site radiologists. The patient is contacted, screened for contraindications, history of surgery, etc. and the imaging facility is selected. Selection is based on strict protocols which emphasize quality and appropriateness for the particular examination ordered. Scheduling protocols are easily customizable to address specific client requirements.
